Falken Tire on kaubamärk, mis kuulub 1909. aastal asutatud Jaapani ettevõttele Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI). Sumitomo Rubber on  suuruselt viies rehvitootja maailmas ja talle kuulub ka  Dunlop kaubamärk. 

2017 aastal ostis Sumitomo Goodyear Dunlop Tyresi Põhja-Ameerika, mis hõlmas tootmistehast Tonawandas, Buffalo lähedal New Yorgis. Käesoleval ajal toodetakse seal ka osa rehvidest.

FALKEN TIRE CORPORATION, based in Rancho Cucamonga, California, is the corporate headquarters and West Coast distribution center for North American operations. Additional Falken Tire distribution locations include warehouses in Tennessee, New Jersey, Texas and Florida.
FALKEN TIRE, a Sumitomo Rubber Industries brand, was launched in its native country of Japan in 1983 and introduced to the North American market two years later. At its inception, Falken was created as the flagship high performance radial brand under Ohtsu Tire and Rubber. Now, more than two and a half decades later, Falken has become a well-known, stand-alone brand that focuses on UHP (Ultra High Performance) products while utilizing professional motorsports to further develop and improve products for worldwide distribution.
Falken Tire prides itself on its in-house branding and creative capabilities designed to assist the consumer by providing key information on its brand and multiple product lines. The fully staffed advertising department and motorsports team also strive to help Falken Tire fully maximize exposure and build upon its successes through the company’s American Le Mans and Formula Drift programs. Falken’s uncompromising Formula Drift program captured the 2011 championship for the second year in a row, and its ALMS team brought home two wins in the extremely competitive GT class of the American Le Mans Series.

The tire manufacturer also has made great strides in the off-road category, showcasing the capabilities of Falken’s WildPeak All-Terrain tire at multiple events across the country. Falken also serves as the Official Truck Tire of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series and enjoys strong ties to Defending Champion Ryan Villopoto.
