The Pirelli Cinturato Winter 3 is a high-performance winter tire designed for modern sedans and crossovers. It uses a virtual development process, including generative artificial intelligence in the tire compound formulation, to solve the traditional trade-off between snow grip and wet stability. The tread design combines a zigzag center channel and special snow protection teeth on the shoulder blocks. Its tire compound uses a dual-core polymer structure, a technology derived from Pirelli's ultra-high-performance P Zero Winter 2 tire series, to maintain flexibility over a wide temperature range.

Advanced tread compound: dual-mode polymer structure increases grip at low temperatures on snow without sacrificing performance on wet or dry roads, extending the effective life of the tire.
Optimized tread pattern: snow guard teeth on the shoulder blocks trap snow to improve traction on snow, while the high land/sea ratio and wide grooves improve water and slush evacuation.
Zigzag-shaped central groove: This main channel improves lateral water drainage to prevent aquaplaning and increases lateral gripping edges for better snow handling.
Virtual development process: The use of a virtual compound and simulation software minimized the number of physical prototypes, accelerating development and precisely optimizing the balance between mileage, noise and aquaplaning resistance.
