from the choice of materials, the new hakkapelitta r5 is designed to leave a smaller carbon footprint. the new green trace compound offers excellent winter grip, better mileage and low rolling resistance. a large amount of natural rubber keeps the compound elastic in all conditions. low rolling resistance saves fuel and reduces harmful emissions. more than a third of the materials in the mix are renewable and recycled.
