Yokohama Rubber Company is the ninth largest tire manufacturer in the world. Passenger car tires, truck, bus and trailer tires, off-road and SUV tires, motorsports tires, for mining, construction and industrial vehicles and other applications, marine hoses, conveyor belts, aircraft components. Yokohama products are widely used around the world and have strong consumer support in global markets.

Yokohama is building an extensive global sales network for its core tires, centered on Yokohama Tire Corporation (YTC) in the United States, Yokohama Tire (Canada) Inc., Yokohama Tire Australia Pty., Ltd. and Yokohama Europe GmbH in Germany. Among these, YTC has local production bases that allow it to respond quickly to changing demand in North America.

Yokohama also has production bases in Asia, namely Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. (YTPI), Hangzhou Yokohama Tire Co., Ltd. (CHZY) in China, and Yokohama Tire Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (TRYT). To meet global demand, Yokohama is continuously acquiring production bases for hoses and other products in the United States, Taiwan, Thailand and China, while building tailored sales channels through its overseas subsidiaries.
