goodride / westlake sw628 – solid handling in variable winter conditions

The Goodride / Westlake SW628 is a winter all-season tire designed for central European winter conditions, designed to provide traction on snowy and wet roads, stable handling and comfortable everyday driving. The tire is in a more affordable price range and is suitable for drivers looking for a practical solution for the winter season.

grip on snowy roads

The numerous sipes in the sw628 tread pattern create additional gripping edges that help improve traction on snowy roads. The interaction of sipes and tread blocks supports vehicle control during acceleration, braking and changes of direction.
The tread pattern designed for winter conditions aims to maintain a balance between the necessary grip on snowy roads and the important stability on asphalt.

water and slush removal

The tread grooves on the tire help to channel water and slush away from the contact patch. This supports the tire's grip on wet roads and helps reduce the risk of aquaplaning and slushing.
Effective water removal is important especially when temperatures fluctuate near freezing point and road conditions can change quickly.

rubber compound adapted for winter conditions

The Goodride/Westlake SW628 uses a winter-specific rubber compound designed to maintain the necessary flexibility at low temperatures.
The combination of rubber compound and tread pattern helps support tire contact with cold road surfaces and provide handling in various winter weather conditions.

stability and ride comfort

The sw628's tread block layout is designed to support directional stability in both urban and highway traffic. The tire's construction combines the grip needed for winter driving with everyday comfort.
The tire is particularly suitable for drivers who often drive on cleared roads in winter, but are also exposed to snow, slush and wet asphalt.

affordable choice for the winter season

The goodride / westlake sw628 is a budget-friendly winter tire that offers a practical solution for milder and more variable winter conditions. The tire's strengths include a siped tread pattern, grooves designed to remove water and slush, and a rubber compound adapted for winter use.
The Goodride/Westlake SW628 combines winter grip, stable handling and an affordable price, making it suitable for everyday driving in Central European winter conditions.
