Specially developed for extreme winter needs, the Ice Zero™ Asimatrico is the new member of the Pirelli Ice Zero™ range, designed for a wide range of vehicles from compact cars to minivans and SUVs. Thanks to the higher contact pressure and increased stiffness resulting from the adaptation of the hybrid tread pattern, which combines the new 3D sipe and the conventional 2D sipe, the Ice Zero™ Asimatrico has better ice braking performance compared to the Ice Zero™ FR. The higher sipe density of the Ice Zero™ Asimatrico increases snow contact for better grip on snowy roads. What’s more, the durable soft compound, developed with a new functionalized polymer, extends the operating range at low temperatures and combined with full-depth sipes, allows for a longer product life.
