Aqua Master: The excellent performance on the wet grip ability

As the latest product in the well-known Nankang Sportnex series, the development of AS-2+ aims to satisfy the strictest demands of European market. The upgraded performance of Nankang new UHP tire AS-2+ achieves “A” rated wet grip ability on the European tire label (note 1). Replacing the former generation AS-2, AS-2+ is now available above 30 sizes.

The new NANKANG Sportnex AS-2+ is certified by TÜV SÜD

In the testing of TÜV SÜD(note 2), AS-2+ was compared with the three competitors from European, Japanese and Korean major tire manufacturers. Wet breaking performance of AS-2+ is 14.9% better than the TÜV standard (note 3). In addition, aquaplaning performance is 4.3% better than other competitors in average (note 4).The asymmetric pattern design of AS-2+ offers great solutions for wet grip, driving comfort and handling. Compared to the conventional design, the enlarged tread grooves helps to maximize the aquaplaning ability (Note 5).
