exceptional acceleration and braking performance on ice thanks to 250 studs

this tread pattern is specially designed to allow for a very large number of studs both in the center of the tread pattern and on the shoulders. 22 parallel rows of studs are possible (compared to the xin3's 10 rows), with each stud positioned to have maximum impact on on-ice performance while minimizing impact on noise levels.
wrc rally inspired studs. grip and long-term performance

thanks to the latest generation of studs combined with a new tread pattern, the michelin x-ice north 4 is able to provide high durability and excellent stud adhesion/resistance.
stud technology: xin 4 uses new steel stud stud design and the stud/pattern interaction has been optimized to ensure maximum grip on ice and legal compliance.
new tread pattern with optimized grip in all winter conditions
Tread Pattern: This latest generation v-shaped tread pattern is designed to shed snow and slush. the number of full-depth lamellae has been increased by 50% compared to the previous generation to ensure optimal performance in all winter conditions.
