passenger/SUV hard Tyre Without studs 215/55R18 99H ROADX FROST TEMPO XL

roadx frost tempo – stable handling in variable winter conditions

The Roadx Frost Tempo is a multi-season tire designed for Central European winter conditions, combining good grip on wet and snowy roads, precise handling and driving comfort. The tire has been developed primarily for variable winter conditions, where wet asphalt, slush and snow can quickly alternate.

effective grip on wet and slushy roads

The Frost Tempo tread pattern uses a system of interconnected grooves that help channel water and slush away from the tire's contact patch. This supports traction on wet asphalt and helps reduce the risk of aquaplaning and slushing.
A rubber compound specially developed for winter conditions helps maintain the necessary grip at low temperatures, supporting braking performance and handling in cold weather.

solid traction in snowy conditions

The dense siping pattern in the tire's tread blocks creates numerous gripping edges that help improve traction on snowy roads. The siping arrangement supports controlled acceleration and braking of the vehicle and helps maintain stability when cornering.
The tread structure is designed to provide a balance between the necessary grip on snowy roads and the important handling on wet asphalt.

precise handling and stability

The Roadx Frost Tempo's optimized carcass and tread profile help distribute the forces acting on the tire's contact patch more evenly. This supports vehicle stability both at higher speeds and when changing direction.
The tire's construction also takes into account the needs of more powerful passenger cars and SUVs, where precise steering feel and solid contact with the road surface are important.

lower noise level and driving comfort

The variable arrangement of the tread grooves helps reduce repetitive vibrations and noise generated during rolling. This makes everyday driving more comfortable, both in city traffic and on longer highway trips.

a practical choice for the winter season

The Roadx Frost Tempo is suitable for drivers looking for an affordable winter tire for milder and more variable winter conditions. The tire's strengths include water and slush removal, good grip on snow, and stable handling on wet roads.
The RoadX Frost Tempo combines a modern tread pattern, a winter-specific rubber compound and driving comfort, offering a balanced solution for Central European winter conditions.
