The SP Winter Response is Dunlop's Studless Ice & Snow tire developed for the drivers of small cars looking to enhance their vehicle's wintertime traction. SP Winter Response tires feature a high silica tread compound that retains elasticity at low temperatures to increase traction on ice and snow. This compound is molded into an asymmetric tread pattern design that dedicates specific areas to perform specific tasks resulting in a good balance of wet, snow and ice driving properties. The tread design features circumferential and lateral groves, as well as two sipe designs to increase the number of biting edges to enhance traction, braking and cornering in snow and on ice.
