barum polaris north 6 – solid grip in northern winter conditions

The Barum Polaris North 6 is a multi-season tire developed for the cold and demanding winter conditions of the Nordic countries, designed to provide good grip on snowy and icy roads. The tire combines a rubber compound suitable for cold conditions, a dense sipe structure and a modern tread pattern, ensuring balanced driving characteristics, stable handling and comfort during everyday winter driving.

effective grip on snow and ice

The Polaris North 6 tread pattern is designed to improve traction on slippery winter roads. The closely spaced sipes create numerous gripping edges that support traction during acceleration and help improve braking performance on snowy and icy roads.
The tread block arrangement helps maintain stability during cornering and changes in direction, providing the driver with better control in difficult driving conditions.

cold-resistant rubber compound

The tire's specially developed rubber compound for winter conditions helps maintain elasticity even at very low temperatures. The elastic tread adapts to uneven road surfaces, improving contact with the road surface and supporting traction on snowy and icy roads.
The cooperation between the rubber compound and the sipes helps maintain the tire's driving characteristics even in severe frost.

effective snow and slush removal

The grooves in the Polaris North 6 tread pattern help channel snow, water and slush away from the tire's contact patch. The tread design supports traction in snowy conditions and helps reduce the risk of slush sliding.

stable and comfortable driving experience

The tire's construction and tread block layout are designed to provide balanced handling and driving comfort in a variety of winter road conditions. The properties of the all-season tire allow for comfortable everyday driving on both city streets and highways.
